Staying well mentally and physically is one of the best things we can do. If you are finding it difficult to find time to get to the gym or that yoga class why not try a home work out? So many exercises can be done from the comfort of our own homes.
Fitness Expert Orla Hopkins shares her 20 minute home workout (which can be done in front of the tv with the baby watching Peppa pig if you have to!). There's no equipment needed just throw on your gym gear and let's get started...
Warm Up
- Jumping Jacks 40 secs on 20 sec rest
- Knee Highs 40 sec on 20 sec rest
Repeat x 3 rounds
Workout
- Bodyweight squat x 15
- Squat jumps x 10
- Plank hold 30 sec
- Knee push ups x 10
- Alternating Lunges x 12 each leg
- Mountain climbers 30 secs
Repeat 2-4 rounds depending on your level of fitness
Finisher
- Wall Sit 1 min
- Rest 20 sec
Repeat
DO NOT FORGET TO STRETCH
